Good design, not perfect, maybe too expensive
I needed a whistling kettle as my last kettle boiled softly and fell apart. I am very satisfied with this high quality stainless steel design tip like a train whistle, very smart and sounds good. Some cons: (1) Water doesn't stay as hot for the second or third cup of tea. This may be due to the vents in the lid which turn on the whistle function (2) One of the rivets holding the handle is a bit loose so it clicks when I tilt the kettle to pour which I didn't expect for the price but that doesn't affect the function.
