UPDATE: Once you've found the best 6-foot cable, there's no problem with zero audio loss. It's a nice cable and well built, but its performance is terrible. I had to fall back on my old short cable. Either the distance is too great or the cable is routed incorrectly. I use a lot of audio on a 13-port USB 3.0 hub with a Macbook Pro. Every time I tried to play the audio it disappeared very quickly, sounding like a stuttering effect. I even tried rebooting, using different ports, and tweaking the audio settings back and forth with my USB 3.0 audio interface. Vain. Went back to my old short cable that came with the hub and everything worked great again. So the cable is annoying. Gotta go back and look for something better. Damn.
