Review on ☕️ Large Capacity Glass Coffee Bean Storage Containers with Clamp and Spoon – Yangbaga Shelf Unit, 2 x 45 oz Airtight Food Storage Jars for Kitchen by Rachel Harris

Thin glass and poor design leads to broken glasses

Cute glasses that would make a nice addition to any cafe but I knew from the start these weren't made to last . Firstly, one of the two glasses was broken, but not because of bad packaging or wrong delivery. They are packed very well. Either it was an item that was damaged by a previous consumer, returned, NOT inspected and then repackaged and shipped to the next consumer. OR it was already broken when the glass was sealed at the factory and cracked over time. Apart from that, this is not the reason for this bad rating. Things like that happen. Bad rating and review because of bad and cheap design. The glasses are very thin, like normal thin cheap drinking glasses. Not what I would expect for $40. This is the kind of glass you accidentally break when it falls over in the kitchen sink. In addition, the silicone sealed wooden lid, which can be flipped up and zipped to seal the contents inside, does not close loosely as can be seen in the attached photos. The lid must be flexed (pulled up and down) to close without stressing the thin-walled glass jar. Even with an unbroken can, I was afraid that simply tightening the buckle would break the can. The photo shows that the wooden lid rests against the edge of the vessel when it is not in use. It doesn't just close. at the bank. It's fine if you hold the lid open on purpose, but it folds onto the back of the jar, so I doubt that resting position is intentional. In another photo you can see the lid after it has been lifted off the back of the can. In fact, it still doesn't close at the bank. Finally, when you press the front of the lid to reach the latch, the semi-rigid seal presses firmly against the glass and you can feel and almost hear the fragility of the device. Get it wrong once and it will definitely break. *I didn't even unroll the wooden stand knowing I wouldn't ask for a replacement. In general, I wouldn't recommend using them regularly. You look very nice, but wearing this every day and taking it off is too tight not to end up as a disaster. - CF
