So happy with this product! The previous owner of the house I bought had an 80 gallon air compressor installed in the backyard shed and the air was ducted to the garage across the yard. I didn't want the compressor running 24/7 in this Texas weather (especially since some of the fittings were leaking causing the compressor to cycle on and off periodically) so I had to go through the thru every time I wanted to use it backyard to turn it on. The switch that controls it is on the other side of the house and also powers other electronics in the other shed, so using it isn't an option either. Turn off the compressor (I know it's a large capacity remote switch but it's still not enough to run this large compressor so I had to use an extra 30A relay). When I bought it (this remote switch) I expected it to run on 1/2 the 240v supply that goes into this shed. What I didn't realize was that the feed contained only two hot feet and ground, but not neutral from the panel. So I couldn't power anything with a 120V AC compressor unless I wanted to do something stupid and dangerous like using ground as the neutral. I had no intention of doing this. I got frustrated pretty quickly and thought I couldn't use this remote control, but then I looked at the case and saw that it works up to 265VAC! I was very pleased. Everything is connected and working perfectly. I've even fitted a 240V solenoid valve, also controlled in parallel with this remote switch, to cut off the pipe running underground from the barn to my garage from the compressed air tank. That way, when I turn off the compressor remotely, I can bleed air out of the lines so they remain uncompressed. My garage is about 50 feet from the compressor shed. The remote control reaches this distance without any problems. It turns the entire system on and off with a quick push of a button. So happy I bought this!
