I hooked them up to a Sonos Connect:Amp along with a pair of Energy RC-10 bookshelf speakers and they sound great together. The subwoofer pairs perfectly with bookshelf speakers and fills a much-needed gap in their frequency response. This subwoofer sounds surprisingly rich and smooth for a full 8 inch speaker. The best sound you can get for this price (I paid $290 before tax). Highly recommended.
