I'm often satisfied, but rarely impressed. I am impressed.

This projector has turned out better than I expected. I'm by no means an expert on projectors, but thought that for the price, it would probably be a little blurry, difficult to use, and have limitations. So I was very pleased that I could just plug an HDMI cable into my laptop and watch Netflix with great clarity. I was surprised that I could focus it easily enough to read text at 1920 x 1080 resolution. It took me less than a minute to align and focus everything. The only thing this projector seems to be missing is the ability to adjust the hue. On red undertones it is slightly yellowish. It does have a few different color customization options, though, and I was able to erase almost everything for a near-perfect hue. The fan makes noise on all projectors, I assume, to keep things cool, but it's relatively quiet and almost imperceptible when, say, watching a movie on a giant screen. Overall I am very, very satisfied and will probably buy more for my restaurant. Incidentally, I also ordered a screen from another seller, but the projector came first. I was very eager to test it, and I found a solution for the poor - to make a huge and convenient screen. I just took a large box, unwrapped it and flattened it, then stuck holiday wrapping paper on it (the back of most wrapping paper is white and semi-glossy) and then just hung it up. It actually worked surprisingly well! One thing for those using a computer: the projector's default mode is "DVD", which crops a small area at the top and bottom of the PC screen. If you press the "M" button on the remote control to bring up the options, you can go to "DVD mode" and change it to "PC mode". It's nice and bright - I use a 120 inch projection screen and it's very bright. I think it can work effectively up to 200 inches.
