XL is size 10: my rating
These are great winter pants and look like they will hold up, but be aware the sizes are not typical boy sizes. I bought the XL for my husky and tall 9 year old son, thinking they would fit him for a few years. The tag says XL is just a size 20. My son usually wears a 12-14. Luckily they have an elastic waistband and some stretch but I don't think they will last more than a year.
- Great winter pants for kids. Keeps my son warm and dry without the need for thermal pants underneath. True to size.
- Does not provide adequate protection from the elements
