Review on 🐱 Efficient and Stylish Litter Genie Plus Pail Silver_DX for Odor-Free and Easy Waste Disposal by Lauren Morrison

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I wish I had it sooner

It's really practical! I clean the kitty litter everyday yes I have a lot of shit on my hands lol I have two adult cats and a kitten. The kitten didn't matter as she is less than 8 weeks old. I've switched to 2 large boxes I bought from Revain (which are lifesavers) and pulling out a bag of poop every day has become a real drag. I've been doing this for a year and god forbid if I don't pull it out or miss a day to clean her box I occasionally wake up to treats outside the box πŸ˜’. I have a huge male toyger so this is a great buy BUT I have to take him out once a week. For me it's a huge difference, even though it's a lot earlier than the description says, it's still a life saver in my situation. I bought a Gin Plus and was stumped when it arrived and felt very slow at learning and had to read the instructions multiple times. It's very simple: under the lid there is an additional valve into which you put the bag with the genie in the bottle. Stretch the bag (make sure it goes in the right direction), tie a knot at the end of the bag. The ghost will open halfway and you can see how much pocket space you need in the bottom half. It's quite difficult to get the bag as there is a cork between the lid and the bottom half where it opens. This is to ensure you never smell an unpleasant odor as it is always tightly closed. How to put poop under the lid, close the lid, pull out the cork so the poop falls to the bottom, then put the cork back in place and VOILA, no smell! Anyway you have to hold that stopper a bit open to get to the bottom half of the bag which is awful after a few uses so keep it clean weekly (e.g. wipe the rim under the cap). When removing poop, there's a built-in child-safe blade that you can thread the bag through to cut open and tie a knot at the top, then be ready to take it out. It might be a hassle for some but I like it and I'll attach a photo. There might be a few minor changes, but to me they're tiny compared to what I've covered before. WARNING: Contains an explicit photo of the mess my cats make in the potty area. UPDATE: Been using it for 1 month and 4 days. and the supplied refill bag is ready! I've used it about 5-6 times so I took off a star because they could have made the bags better. You have to tie a knot at both ends, and that's scrap material, so I'm making a star for that! How do they make their money right? I clean 2 giant litter boxes every day and my cats need to be taken out once a week or less depending on the situation. When my male toyger goes, he goes. I'm about the size of a grapefruit or even bigger! It's enough on its own, so if you have a Bengal cat or an Exotic cat, you'll be done with it in no time! Until the bags are updated I will return the star. My cons aside, I still love it as it takes away the smell and the pockets go hand in hand. I will try the bin liner and update my thoughts on regular bin liner vs genie bottle refill again. As mentioned at the beginning, refill packs are not a problem, you just have to get used to them.
