Pretty nice clock radio

Notes: I have not used/tested this product with a smartphone interface. This review was written after the first 24 hours of use. Cons for me: This device is designed for smartphone users. For those who do not have a smartphone, some functions, such as alarm frequency, are not available. The Wi-Fi icon on the display keeps blinking - I'll cover it with black tape. There is no button to toggle between AM/PM when setting the time or alarm - you have to scroll up or down. Apparently there is no website for "Winees". , or "Linkzone Technology Co., Limited", or their products (which I was able to find with a quick search). Pros for me: Large display that's visible but doesn't light up the whole room (I like it dark). The most commonly used buttons and other controls are relatively well placed and accessible (others on the back of the device). Actual watch face for changing clock and alarm time settings, as well as changing some other settings. The display auto-dimming setting is pretty good. It's a little slow to respond, but doesn't stay bright enough to keep me up at night like my old clock radio did. Can I recommend it to others? Hm. If the company made me feel more like it's really "out there" (with a website), I would recommend this device to smartphone users. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone at this time (20210904). As a non-smartphone user I'm not disappointed enough to warrant a return as it has some very nice features. But. If I had known then what to do now, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
