I usually don't like plastic containers as they discolour, warp or otherwise don't hold up. Glass containers are far more likely to be something that will last a lifetime - at least until you drop them, but it's a risk to all the best. Three containers are good value for money. They're not as big as I would like for staples like rice or beans, but they're good for things I have less of like tea, nuts, spices, and dried fruit. They also fit nicely side by side on pantry shelves so you don't waste space. If I can get some more space in there I'll probably buy a few more to organize the rest of my stuff.
