I think this is the ideal connection for most external electrical connections. I only use it as a pass for our outside to inside cable internet. I'm not a fan of the occasional hole in the wall letting some sort of putty come out around the wiring. This box cleaned everything up and made the installation very professional. I'm all for the details. I used cable clips to get the cable out of the box and the cutouts can be different sizes to fit different size cable clips. It wasn't a deal breaker as the cable clip I used was the right size, but I understand how bad that might be for someone else. All in all, this is the perfect box for a professional look that someone could need.
