This solved all my problems. In Spring 2015 we got a 1988 Volvo 240 station wagon for next to nothing, and it's a great car. The only problem is that he has a very torn driver's seat. The estimate for the restoration was impractical given the cost of the car, so we spent the summer trying to find a seat cover that, first of all, even FITS, and if so, that is comfortable with the mess that happens underneath. We had layers on this seat. In the fall after reading the reviews I felt the risk was worth $75 and we weren't disappointed! A bonus for me at 5ft 3in is that it lifts me up a bit too. My 5ft 11" son has no problem with the extra height. Now at the end of 2015 I can say that this is a great seat cushion. On the plus side: - It fits the seat - It's amazingly comfortable - It stays in place - It looks great. It doesn't look out of place. That's an understatement. If anyone knew what that is, I'd be afraid of theft, but it looks very nondescript. Of the minuses: - seat heating does not work because of the thickness and tough bottom. This compromise has paid off. At some point I will need a kit for the passenger side. I will not hesitate to buy it again.
