The bag seems to be of good quality, especially for the $35 I paid for it. The downsides are that the clip on the front bounced the first time you tried to open it. I couldn't find where it went, but I probably didn't plan on using it much. Also, there isn't a lot of padding between the bottom of the laptop compartment and the floor, so be careful when tossing this bag in with your laptop. Also, there are plenty of pockets for organization. The capacity of the bag itself makes it suitable for everyday use, but I would rather not use it as a personal item as hand luggage on the plane.
