I've been searching for the perfect lightweight camel coat for a long time and I can tell you, this is it! Being from Southern California I am so envious of East Coast winter style and I really want to wear a coat. However, it is usually too warm for that. This coat is perfect for the Southern California fall/winter climate. I'll even wear it until spring when the June dawn comes. This coat appears to be way more expensive than the price you pay for it. I like shoulder straps, deep functional pockets and the fact that they don't wrinkle straight out of the box. The suede-like material is soft and velvety. Note that it does fall off a bit, but this will fade after a few wears. I noticed it spilled a bit on my black backpack but nowhere else. I'm 5ft 7in, size 16-18 and size XL fits like a dream. I can even button and close my coat if I want to, which is never the case with coats like this. The hem of the coat falls exactly to the knee. I liked the camel so much that I immediately ordered it in green.
