I wanted a USB extender that plugs from the back of the TV to the top of the TV stand or DVD player. I was also hoping to find something that would stand up and stay in place to avoid the constant jump of cables. So far this has done the trick. It stays in place and doesn't fall off. You need to hold it with one hand while unplugging the USB end with the other. The USB connector plugs and unplugs easily without being loose or too tight. The initial quality is very good and looks like it will last a long time. Now I'm ordering another one for my desk. One of my HP 3.0 USB ports broke due to overuse and I will be using one of these to connect to another 3.0 port before it fails. If one of your USB ports is too tight, keep that in mind. Good solid product.
