Battery powered (not included) OR USB port with a 6ft cord No outlet Only one con = the latch on the battery compartment is fragile and broke when first opened We need to use some tape to hold the cover together Control box on sign - or REMOTE >>> USB works the same - button on the control box on the plate - or REMOTE >>> REMOTE - permanent on / off / timer 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 hours / 8 modes plus multi / brightness 60% / and brightness up / down button But there is a helpful instruction page that's pretty self explanatory light is still / flashing slowly / flashing medium / flashing fast / fading on and off / etc. e. it has served me well bright colors, as in the product.uct info.my photos do not reflect the color.
