So, as you can probably guess from other reviews, it's not intended for Index or even most VR sets. This is perfect for the rift and quest set; The controller ring fits perfectly into the side slots. That being said, at the time of writing this article, there was no stand dedicated to the pointer other than some expensive custom parts. That's enough for an index. Of course I have to hang the controllers back, but it works like a stand.
