As soon as I received the shoes, I was extremely dissatisfied and saw that the insole only reached the middle of the shoe. This reduced support and made the cabin feel rough and not very comfortable. I wore them for a while in the summer and the sole ripped on both in the center front. I have had Sperry Topsiders in the past and they have lasted for many years handling saltwater swimming and other activities. It will be a long time before I can buy a Sperry product again. Obviously they took quality out of the equation entirely.
