We bought two of these for a kiosk project and both have a horrible outgassing smell which is totally unacceptable. We assemble and commission the manufacture of many thousands of electronic devices each year and these parts have the strongest and most common odor of any part we have worked with. We return monitors and hope to receive monitors from a different batch with no odor. The smell may be due to bad soldering.
