Grandstream 4FXO seems like a good gateway for the price; However, getting it up and running with minimal documentation is a real challenge that not everyone is willing to embrace. To set up the box, you need to connect it to a local network using DHCP, and then find out what IP address it's receiving. You have to download the app (which requires some additional programs) and wait a long time for it to recognize the box, which is far from easy. In my work network; I have several CISCO phones previously discovered; so I had to search one by one to find it. Houses; The box couldn't be found, so I had to look at the DHCP lease in the router and check everything connected. Although it is time consuming; Its operation requires certain knowledge and full access to the network. Adjusting the HTML looks easy; but many things remain unclear, so you'll have to check the forums until you find the right settings. In a typical setup; the presence of a box behind NAT; it registers with the SIP server, but there is no information to verify. Making outbound calls requires a lot of trial and error before finding the right configuration. I just gave up on incoming calls. The box automatically replies after a beep and beep or two. I changed many parameters; but the behavior has not changed. At the end; if you have time it will work; but I also heard that the box is reliable; but if you're in a hurry, it's best to look elsewhere.
