We already have a medium bed for a dog, he's grown up and needs a pad for his joints. This bed is about a year old with minimal signs of wear and we are very happy with it. We bought a new big bed for another dog, she loves it. She was in bed for about a month. Somewhere yesterday she apparently ate something that didn't suit her stomach. She had runs in her box at 4am. I didn't really appreciate that these beds were waterproof before, but now I definitely know! Cleaning was SO easy. Remove as much clutter as possible, close the outer case and toss in the washing machine. Wipe the waterproof inner case with an antibacterial cloth. Dry the bedspread and put it back on the bed. A HUGE THANK YOU to the manufacturer of this bed for the easy cleaning. I will never buy a bed again! Update 10/04/19: Still valid! She's already had 2 heat cycles and a long, horrible Giardia battle on this bed and she's still washing up and looking brand new!
