I needed something to keep my strong willed 3 year old from climbing onto the front of a minivan while I unbuckle her little sister. This seemed like the perfect solution as it also allows for storage. I use it to store a box of tissues (now it won't get crumpled or lost under the seat), the tissues are easy to get through the openings. at your discretion. I took off a star for a setup that had more to do with my car than anything else. My car headrest is fixed so I attached the top clip to the handles on the back of the seat and secured the top perfectly. The problem arose when installing the floor. I had nothing to attach it to in the lower seats. After reading other reviews I came up with a decent plan to attend. The passenger seat is perfectly connected to the metal element that adjusts the seat. Unfortunately I couldn't fit this part on the driver's side as I have to adjust the seat when my husband drives. I have attached it to the seat back plastic cover with limited success. He stayed for several weeks before detaching. Even though one side is detached it still works properly so it's not really a big issue. I would suggest that you take a good look at your seats before you buy them to make sure they are performing the way you intend them to.
