Great idea good quality. Bought this for my year long trip to Australia and South East Asia. I never used it, a few times when lockers weren't available in dorms I thought it would make my bag stand out too much and make it a target as no one else bothered to do anything with theirs. It's not easy to quickly slip on and off and then fold back up, which is another reason I haven't used it while waiting for long stops in busy areas. So basically I've been carrying an expensive, heavy, almost useless thing in my backpack for over a year for no reason, which is a big no-no when it comes to mountaineering. I had to sell it to the first person who offered me a decent amount.
