I'm so happy! Instead of spending over $400 to replace a custom lid for my built-in grill, I bought a $30 rectangular patio furniture lid and folded it into the shape I wanted. Installed some bungee cord spacers which allowed me to keep it in place. Holds water and stays in place through 3 storms. As for issues with the punch tool, like most cutting edges, it will dull after use. You can file the edge or just use scissors or the tip of a knife to make a hole. The important point is to make a clean hole with no protruding threads or material that could cause leakage or tearing. After making the hole big enough, use a lighter and melt the edges of the hole to remove the loose material and reduce the chance of it escaping. The shell covers the counter material and you have something bigger and better at your fingertips. . . Stay where you are. A practical set that is always at hand.
