Review on ๐Ÿพ Petsfit Comfortable Dog Cat Backpack Carrier: Ultimate Travel Companion for Pets up to 22 Pounds by Bethany Patel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Slim for a 13 lb cat

I've been looking for backpack straps for several days. Actually, I wanted my cat to walk with me. But I also want it as a carrier because there are times in life when it gets carried around with me a lot and I "stole" my mother's carrier when I left her house. I meant 3 plus front pack. One had a sloping top which meant my cat probably couldn't sit up, it was also obviously sagging. One had wheels but apparently they were badly broken. The front pack was an idea because back then I could see and touch my cat, but I also wanted a stretcher now (like I mentioned) and wanted it to be protective, I think I might get a front pack later. My biggest struggle was choosing the Becko 3-in-1 anti-scratch pet bag. But this one won because I read it didn't collapse unless it was fully closed. I think the extra money I spent on this over my other options was most likely worth it. My cat sits and watches from the web and sticks his head out from time to time while tied to the bag. Sometimes when he shifts his weight, I lose my straight path and have to counter. Warning. that should be pretty much common sense. Make sure you know your pet's behavior well enough to know if you can unzip the front zipper. My cat stays seated most of the time (although I don't risk it most of the time), my fiance's cat, on the other hand, likes to test his limits on points and jumped into the Petsmart and clung to the harness for a few seconds before he slid out onto the Floor. Pros: * Seems well built * Fits my medium sized 13 lb Maincoon cat mix * Works as a backpack or mounted carrier (vertically and horizontally) * Can stand alone as a cat carrier can get in and out at will * but can be folded with multiple zippers. *one of the bottom pads has a washable cover (vertical) *has a leash clip for more security when you open it.*Control/comfort/security seems decently thought through. Cons:* Sometimes my shoulders hurt after walking for about 40 minutes. (Maybe this is my own issue as I'm not sure if adjusting the straps would help) * No pocket. (That's handy for goodies, carry-on, dishes, leash, etc. which I usually put in my old tote bag) * No handle (unless you want to carry it as a tote bag for some reason) * No sunglasses. (This isn't the norm for carriers and is just a personal preference as my old carrier had "shades" that I could hang on the mesh to hide the cat, isolate it from allergy sufferers, or help it feel more private and to feel more comfortable.) In the photos: Maine Coon weighs about 13 pounds and the tuxedo weighs about 8-9 pounds. I have the best video quality on Youtube under "PetsFit mini Adventure with LionHeart". Hopefully this will be informative for another curious cat owner.
