LOVE LOVE LOVE! QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY!

So far I love this circuit breaker. From top to bottom this circuit breaker is quality at its finest. It accepts 1/0 AWG or 4 AWG wire (two adapters included for 4-πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1/0 AWG wire). I installed it in a 2010 Silverado 1500 LT Z71 Ext Cab. Disconnecting my "auxiliary battery" using a 1/0 AWG SHCA OFC wire I routed from the top of the fuse box to the SMD junction box behind the rear seat. In one week I blew/melted over 3 "200A" ANL fuses (panel) and a 200A ceramic ANL SMD (Steve Meade design, $10 fuse😿). I had already tripped the circuit breaker when I lifted the back seat and the bare metal of the seat touched the positive (+) terminal block, which immediately sparked. Although I have 4 amps (Sony HiRes, JL Audio JX 360x4, Infinity Kappa 4, soundigital 400x4), soundigital 5x1 crossover, bass epicenter (tone control) and fan (each fused separately of course), Kaption Audio 200 Amp CB was the only one which worked and all i had to do was press the blue flipper bumper latch and voila! It did EXACTLY what it was designed to do and I'm over the moon because I didn't have to buy another fuse :) Also, I don't have to cut the negative on both of my batteries for the wiring to work, all I have to do is turn the red button on Press CB and the connection will be broken so there will be no more sparks if you reconnect the negative (-) battery terminal :)

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
