I would not recommend for women with smaller or medium sized hands. Once I tightened the bottom and top straps, the material underneath began to overlap, meaning the straps caused the thicker material to dig into the top of my wrist and forearm (the strap wasn't too tight). The two splints on the top of my arm pressed against the small bones of my arm and the knuckles of my index and ring fingers. The index finger strap buckle caused more pain, given that the fixed/non-removable splint pressed against my hand even more than the ring finger splint. Even with the straps loosened (causing the brace to be very loose, meaning my wrist was not properly immobilized), landing was uncomfortable and painful. Suggest a design that only accommodates women's hands, rather than a one-size-fits-all design where splints can be removed from the top of the arms. I decided to cut out the splints on the top, although that wouldn't fix the overlapping of the material or the bad placement of the buckle on the index finger. So I decided to return the product.
