I think it's normal... for personal hygiene

relatively cheap and very easy on the car. My only concern is how well I clean it over time as I have the impression that the small bits of material/dirt I scrape off the machine during the wash are slowly building up in the glove and starting to scuff the to cause varnish. . I could be wrong, but we'll see. You could also argue that around the same time you notice a drop in performance, you'll buy another one! He's doing his job. I don't think it gets any better than using a microfiber cloth to wash. High absorbency allows the glove to apply a lot of water/soap to the car and cover a large area when washing. Can't say I've used it as a "glove" except for the first wash. It's easier for me to use it like a regular sponge, so I'd be interested in a version that doesn't have a hand hole. Overall it works well and I would consider another at this price point. Maybe my review is a bit critical, but that's it. Uses this with SiO2 infused ceramic soap and the standard bucket approach. Update: Have used it a few times and got the job done. Dirt build-up isn't really a problem as it comes out very clean in the washing machine, so everything should be fine. Holds and processes mild laundry well.
