This shoe has laces, but the material does not yield/stretch to conform to your child's foot. Typically, you loosen the laces and pull the tongue up to make room for your foot, then tighten/tie the laces to secure them. . Shoes didn't fit. Looks good and is the right size, but not practical. If she wore a size larger just to slip her foot in, she would have ended up in a shoe that was too big.
