Review on GEARWRENCH 5 Pc. Hammer And Mallet Set - 82303D by Jonathan Arroyo

I have not used these yet but wanted to upload some better pictures and review them after my initial inspection. For the price and the lack of decent competition in this price range I would say these are a safe bet if you are like me and want an introductory set of hammers and dollies that is not complete garbage. The hickory handles are straight and free of defects. Not that it bothers me but the finish of the wood is relatively rough. all the working metal surfaces are well polished and I believe they are clear coated, I'm not sure if that is standard practice but it will be interesting to see how the finish holds up.Overall there are no real surprises, Gearwrench is not top of the line but they get you about 90% there.
