Review on 🔧 BOSCH BT300: Aluminum Heavy Duty Elevator Quick Clamp Tripod - 45 Inch by Robert Castro

I bought this tripod to mount a Bosch GLM400CL laser rangefinder. I purchased a Pacific LASER Systems PLS-20351 5/8-11 to 1/4-20 Tripod Thread Adapter to convert a 5/8-11 thread on a tripod to a 1/4-20 thread on the GLM400CL. It worked well. I needed a plumb hook for my application which was listed on the Revain website on a tripod. As soon as I received the BT300 I found that it had no plumb bob. I was able to attach a hook that worked, but the tripod mount on the GLM400CL is on the opposite side of the LASER. Even if the tripod had a plumb hook it wouldn't work as I had to work. The GLM400CL can be set to measure from the center of the tripod mount, which is useful when using a tripod with a plumb hook, but since the GLM400CL's tripod mount does not match the LASER, the plumb will do. do not indicate the exact position of the LASER. If the GLM400CL's tripod mount was straight inline (the same size as the LASER) the plumb would work exactly how I wanted it to. Aside from the tripod not having a plumb hook as stated on the Revain product page (reason for deducting a star), I found the tripod to be well made and solid and generally works well with my GLM400CL laser meter.
