I'll be using this to edit morning and evening videos on the way to work. The platform looks small, but it is very convenient to use. I never realized how little space I needed to use my mouse. I'll keep it in my backpack when I'm not on the bus. The clip design is quite large, which will accommodate most if not all laptops. At the same time, the clip is very large, so this small platform takes up a lot of space in your bag. I'm a little concerned that the clip (screw part) might eventually poke a hole in my pocket. I would like a ledge on the edge of the platform to keep the mouse from slipping. However, it is a double-edged sword. Adding a ledge to the platform can reduce usable space. At the moment I put the mouse on my lap when I want to type with both hands. I added the mouse pad to the surface with tape. I would like this platform to come with a mouse pad of the exact size and shape that is glued or attached to the top of the platform. I don't think a mouse pad stops slipping (especially on buses and trains), but it does allow the mouse to register higher DPI.
