Mini painting is a must if you have poor eyesight!

dear readers, this is my test of the headband magnifying glass with LED light. Let me start with some background information. I bought this item to help me with my D&D miniature. I wear glasses and as some of you know some mini glasses can be very small and the usual sizes that are most commonly used are 28mm or 32mm and it is difficult to see such small details in them. So the glasses were packed when it got to my house. It comes with hand clips that go through your ear, or you can turn them off and put on a headband. I removed the temples and opted for a headband because, as mentioned above, I wear glasses. The quality and construction of the glasses is very good and I have no problems with it. However, you will one day need your own batteries to power the LED light built into the glasses. As I wear glasses I had to change glasses a bit and it was just unscrewing part of the bridge of my nose and taking it off was very painful when I used it and left it on my face. I really like using them when painting my miniatures. Pros: 5 lenses of different strengths - comes in a protective case and has a cleaning cloth, handy head-strap mount, dual LED lights that are angle adjustable and emit good light. Cons: The mount that holds the lenses. pretty weak and if you hit the lens you'll probably knock it out. The whole device can be a bit heavy if it has batteries to use the flashlights. The nose bridge piece is BAD, difficult to adjust, it digs into your nose, I removed it by undoing two screws and not looking at the nose bridge piece. Using LED lights for long periods of time will heat up the batteries and thus can heat your forehead so a word of caution this can cause your forehead to get hot but it hasn't gotten to the point where I feared would you burn me In the end for the price and a small change to the item it works great for me and I am happy with my purchase. If I'm looking for a cement replacement in the future, I might consider spending a little more money and getting one that has a built-in battery or a removable one.
