Strong and rigid mount. The clamp mount is metal and secures the camera mount to the surface with a 2" or larger grommet, which I believe is up to 2 1/2". The end of the camera has a multi-directional swivel with a standard 1/4" thread to mount any camera with a threaded socket. I use it with a Logitech streaming camera to place the camera exactly where I need it for green screen web streaming.
