update! The time has said! We've been using it for a little over a month, one broke. I weighed the backpack he was carrying and it was 11 pounds. So much for 35! I have these hooks for use in the utility room for kids backpacks and the like. They are not large and overly pushy but are said to allow 35 pounds. The time will show. One of the large screws was missing, which was a pain. They send short and long screws but of course the longer ones I wanted to use are missing.
