I bought this foundation because I needed something to better set makeup, create a smooth surface and hide pores. I didn't feel like this product had any of that. My pores were just as visible and my makeup didn't improve. What I liked was the feeling of it happening and the way my skin felt after applying it. I feel like it's more of a light moisturizer than a foundation. As it doesn't smudge or minimize anything it can't really be used on its own and it didn't affect how my makeup was held or held and while it didn't make my face look oilier it didn't make it any less oily in the T -Zone. area during the day. I will probably use it as a pre makeup moisturizer when my skin is dry. I liked the consistency, although I felt a little strange when I applied it, but after I applied it I felt cool and fresh. It had a slightly matte finish, but my Origins moisturizer does the same but better. In general, I would use a light moisturizer before makeup instead of foundation. Good for the money if you are looking for a moisturizer. I only applied it in the morning and am not sure if applying it before bed causes acne or not. Definitely a moisturizer before makeup.
