I wear size 40x34. So that's what I had originally ordered. When I tried them on right out of the package I knew it was too big. I then returned them and ordered 38x34. When I tried them right out the package the waist was good but it seemed like the inseam was way too long. I decided to wash them with HOT water, twice, and dry them at the hottest setting. I was trying to shrink them. After this process, the pants fight nearly perfect. The inseam was just right, and the waist is great. I would recommend people size down and wash before getting a final fit.
