I wear size 40x34. So that's what I had originally ordered. When I tried them on right out of the package I knew it was too big. I then returned them and ordered 38x34. When I tried them right out the package the waist was good but it seemed like the inseam was way too long. I decided to wash them with HOT water, twice, and dry them at the hottest setting. My waist varies between 33 and 34" depending on when I eat. It's impossible to get comfortable fit all the time unless you have Savane's expansion joint. I won't buy any other brand because of this. I used to buy J Banks but there quality has deteriorated and there sizing is not consistent.
