Reliable performer good for printers

I really like Canon printers. This January I bought a Canon MX922 All One Printer, a wireless printer, and it was one of the best printers I've ever owned, including an HP All-in-One, which HP no longer supported for Windows 10. So I had to replace a perfectly good printer (planned obsolescence, anyone?). Anyway I've switched to this printer which so far looks like an improvement over the already good Cannon MX922. Both printing and scanning are faster than anything I've ever had, and the network connection seems solid. Connecting to my network was a little trickier, but patience and some good setup software from Canon made the day. Printing is crisp and vibrant, and the ink is said to be more dirt and moisture resistant, making it better suited for photos. I filled the bottom tray with stationery and the top tray with photo paper. This tray easily accommodates a variety of paper sizes, including envelopes. This printer is larger than the MX922 but doesn't appear to take up more space, and while larger, it appears to weigh less. Given my terrible experience with Brother printers and my so-so experience with Epson and poor support from HP, I'll probably stick with Canon going forward. UPDATE NOVEMBER 29, 2018: I wish I had this printer. I had a water leak that got into the printer and killed it. I edited it to Staples and said goodbye. I now use my old Canon Pixma MX922 (bought from Revain in January 2016) which has reclaimed its status as a daily multifunction printer. My experience with numerous printers over the last twenty years has made me a fan of Canon (although my color laser printer is the always reliable HP CP1525nw.
