Reliable performer good for printers

I really like Canon printers. This January I bought a Canon MX922 All One Printer, a wireless printer, and it was one of the best printers I've ever owned, including an HP All-in-One, which HP no longer supported for Windows 10. So I had to replace a perfectly good printer (planned obsolescence, anyone?). Anyway I've switched to this printer which so far looks like an improvement over the already good Cannon MX922. Both printing and scanning are faster than anything I've ever had, and the…

Very slow, frequent freezing, broken after 2 weeks.

Broke 2 weeks after paper jam. They have started printing white streaks/streaks and there is no way to get rid of them. Paper jams often and the printer is slow on almost everything. Slow start, slow press, push button and wait and wait again. Has asked Canon for support several times; They only have auto answer for this model and when I say I have this printer Canon immediately drops the call and auto hangs up every time I call. Returned to Revan. Instead I got a Canon MegaTank and became a…

Great printer, but with a few weaknesses.

I am very happy with this printer and the price is right. But... it makes me miss my beloved MP560. I ordered a cheaper printer first, thinking if these printers only last a few years, what's the point of spending more, but the cheaper one was TOO cheap: I hated it from the start for its lack of features and inconveniences. Working procedure and then for the first week or so the scanner started to scan crooked which forced me to send it back. The scanner is just as important to me as the…

Worst printer I've ever had

The print quality of this printer is okay, but the performance of this printer is terrible. It seems to get false jams all the time, and then when you go through the steps of checking everything it says to check (and find nothing), then it takes forever for it to "regroup" to come back to be able to print. Also, every time you take the paper box to refill, you need to "register the size" even if nothing has changed. It should stay the same until you change something, instead of "logging" it…

I had and bought a Canon printer that I loved dearly for many years.

I had a Canon printer that I loved for many years and bought this as a replacement. I do not like it at all! The first problem I had was that I couldn't find the auto-activation feature. I had to turn the printer on manually every time I printed something. Read the reviews, other people had the same problem. You must ensure that this feature is enabled when you purchase the printer. Another annoying problem is that it has two paper trays but only prints from one. When the paper runs out, he…

Very bad printer

We have had this printer for over a year now. During that time there was nothing but trouble. We had to constantly reinstall drivers to regain wireless connectivity, firmware updates failed, and Google Docs often failed to print. Please don't even think about buying this printer if you don't have trouble troubleshooting.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Bad sentence

Home Office Champ for office electronics

This is my third Canon printer, I think it's about three years old. It replaced an earlier Cannon MB2500 (maybe that's a misnomer I remember) in a printer. This printer has been flawless so far. I used up a full set of "XL" cartridges in about 12 weeks. I use 28g premium paper. Based on this profile, print quality is excellent. The color is very good. It's not the "best" option for photo printing, color reproduction is a bit distorted and washed out compared to high-end photo printers. I make…

Great Canon printer!

So far so good with this printer. Although the Wi-Fi setup seemed overly complicated after launch, it's been working great ever since. Canon's instructions for physically setting up the printer were near perfect. However, they seemed to want to jump through hoops to get the Wi-Fi connection working. Maybe they were trying to make life easier for a newcomer to the network, but after three attempts to connect it my way, I gave up and just browsed through the menu, searched for the network…

Professional printer for little money

I needed an eBay label printer with two trays and a plain paper option. I used to use a compact manual printer, but that got boring very quickly. I bought this because the LCD offers the best configuration options, two selectable input trays, and the price. Everyone seems to be complaining about the shutdown settings. If you've read the manual, there are several different power saving and power planning options, some of which are enabled by default. All are available in the device settings…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Slightly torn
