Compact and lightweight with P-TTL

I bought this flash for its compact size and P-TTL compatibility, mainly to pair with my Pentax KP. This flash weighs 250g with batteries compared to 390g for the AF-360FGZ II. The flash is significantly smaller than the AF-360FGZ and has almost the same performance. It doesn't have the same features as the AF-360fgz, but it's good for its size. The build quality is a bit below that of the AF-360FGZ, but it's pretty good for the price. It only uses two AA batteries, so cycles are slower than the AF-360FGZ. I have done many tests with Pentax 50mm f1.8, Pentax 100mm f2.8, Sigma 50mm f2.8 and Tamron 17-50 f2.8, all on CP. I get almost the same results with the AF-360FGZ. Exposure in reflection is usually underexposed by aperture, while direct flash results are largely justified. I have two camera locks while using this flash. After the exposure, the camera gets stuck in playback mode. I did not observe such a freeze on the AF-360FGZ. I'm not sure if this is due to the flash or a bug in the camera's firmware. I deducted a star due to a blocking issue. The flash is glare-free (optional LED) compared to the AF-360FGZ and cannot be used in movie mode. There is a red AF light on the front. While it can zoom up to 105mm, the Pentax system limits the maximum magnification to 58mm. Slave and manual modes work well. High-speed sync also works in manual mode. Overall I like the flash and would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact and lightweight flash. I like the size, especially for travel.
