Install it on your Lincoln SP-170. The 12 foot length is good and seems to feed well without the wiry bird nesting on the reels. But I'm keeping the line pretty straight because I know I'm pushing it. The outer plastic case is pretty tough. When welding, try twisting the gun. The gun shoots well, but it's a bit weak and will push the wire under its own weight, so keep an eye on it when you put it down. You'll need to stretch the trigger spring and see if that helps. Hopefully the plastic will come loose over time, but this type of plastic usually doesn't. If it gets better I will update.
