Velcro fasteners dissolve before the shoe is worn.

We bought this on August 24th. They were retired at the end of October. The material that holds the velcro rings is made of a cheap material. It slowly starts to tear until it breaks in half, leaving you unable to close the tip. I can't return her because she's been out the window for a month. Overall I think a rubber toe cap would hold up well on a scooter. But I won't buy another pair because they fall apart too quickly.
