This has been so useful for us, because after using, we can just roll it up and throw it in the cupboard. Sometimes, the cat jumps on the counter and walks on it while we are cleaning the kitchen, and off it goes into the dishwasher (not the cat, the drying rack - no cats were washed in the making of this review.) Our process is this: after dinner, while washing our dishes and putting them in the dishwasher, we then do the percolator, and that is dried on this, as well as select stainless steel large serving spoons or miscellaneous. It's nice because it's a perfect size. Before we start to prep dinner, we disinfect our counter surfaces, and lay this out on the counter. That way, if we use something (such as a spoon for measuring a spice) we can just quickly rinse and drop it on this drying rack. It's not bulky or cumbersome. Love it love it love it.
