It looks like they will be a lot heavier than they are. They weighed 6.4 ounces. each on my letter scale. They are definitely lighter than my son's wellies. My son has very wide feet and when trying to put them on there was a little resistance even though there was enough room in the sock. I liked it because the legs don't fly out of them when they stomp in the snow. I love how durable and unisex they are because I know a few more kids will benefit a lot from them for years to come.
