My 13 year old daughter chose blue and after trying on several other dresses we chose this for her first dance. It's definitely short, and the style and length are best left to teenagers in my opinion, but it's adorable. I love that the neckline and back are high but the little slits on the sides give it the look my daughter loves while still being age appropriate. She'll wear block heels with strappy heels, but also expects to change into Converse or Vans to dance with her friends. Both will look cute. The material is a thick, stretchy blend that doesn't really wrinkle - it doesn't feel of the best quality, but for the price it's a win.
