Review on Reebok Women's Floatride Athletic Shoes in White and Black by Joshua Gulledge

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ankle stability is a bit lacking

RunnersWorld said it was a really good shoe so I tried it out. I switched from the Nike FlyKnit (not intended for running) because the shoe didn't have enough arch support and cushioning and the bottom of my foot hurt when running. Floatrides by comparison have a lot of support and padding on the bottom, but I've found that they're not as stiff around the ankle as I think they should be. For me, it activates my ankle strength/stability more than any other running shoe I've ever had, so it took me a few runs to get used to it. However, I'm new to running and not sure if this is how running shoes are supposed to work.
