Review on Intex Quick Fill Electric 110 120 38 9CFM by Dee Holt

Happy with the purchase. Has a good selection of jets and fills up very quickly. My only complaint is that it's very noisy - like "I wonder if I should wear hearing protection" volume. But before you know it, the job is done, so there's no point in shopping for earbuds now. ;) It would also be nice if there was a carrying case to keep everything together after the work is done. All in all small complaints, for the price I paid at the time of purchase (less than $15) the value is excellent. Out of curiosity, I'm checking how many watts this air pump draws from the plug. It's around 197W with no load, and with a load (my hand covering the outlet) it draws less at 172W. Interestingly, upon closer inspection, the label says don't run it for more than 10 minutes and let it cool down for at least 10 minutes between uses. It might cause some backlash and early setbacks - it's getting pretty hot indeed. So far this thing has held up great for our family. We use it to inflate/deflate our garden pool and accessories weekly during the summer. Remains a good buy. Edit: 7/21/19: Still valid. We currently use it to blow up our inflatable camping queen beds as well as backyard pool accessories. On one of our hikes he was in the tub where one of our large water bottles broke loose - it sat in 1 inch of water for a month before I noticed. Still no problem. I would say we got our money's worth.
