I'm new to the world of calligraphy but I'm a longtime fan of fountain pens and ink. These calligraphy pens were a great introduction. The set contains 6 brass nibs in different sizes and shapes and a holder. You dip your quills in an inkwell and apply ink to the page. It takes a while to get used to, but the results are wonderful and easier to grasp than you might think. It comes with a small instruction manual which is very helpful! I was skeptical but gave good advice on using the handguard side and different writing styles. I would recommend this kit to anyone interested in learning calligraphy without spending a ton of money on the highest quality materials.
