When I bought this printer, I wasn't entirely aware that it didn't support automatic duplex printing (I think any printer in the $300+ price range will ALWAYS have range should). However, manual 2-sided printing would be nice if it were easy. The printer doesn't have a simple chart on a color screen to show you what to do, so you have to keep running back and forth from computer to printer trying to remember the chart your computer displayed. If you get it to print double-sided in the correct orientation, you'll be disappointed to find that you can only print one side at a time. If you want to print 20 duplex copies of a booklet, you need to print all the copies from Tray 1 on one side, then stand up and feed each page one at a time into the manual page feeder to print on the other side. . OR you would have to put EXACTLY 20 sheets of paper in tray 1 to run out of paper in tray 1, otherwise it will only print 20 copies of the first page and 20 copies of the second page without pausing for you to reset the printer. It's annoying.
